It's not that they are bad, it's just they got overshadowed by Immortals that are now also troops and are what warriors used to be basically with better guns. You could always start putting tons of metal plates on them to convert them to immortals.
But it doesn't really matter, apparently having 9 croissants flying around is where it's at for Necrons because flyers kind of make 40k terrible now.
Also I dont have a problem if you want to proxy anything. It might help with you deciding on what you want to play. Ill bring a bunch of my extra models.

Okay for Sunday. Dont force any purchases though, I can play lower points if you want.

I'm buying more DA models figure it was best choice because I already have some? No just need the new codex if I can ever find one

You do have space marines so it makes sense. You can also always do any of them and allie pretty freely to get some of the fun odd ball units.
I'll bring my DA codex on sunday. I think you'd have to order it from somewhere or ask the store to do a special order. I might be wrong but they might not have picked up any of the new stuff.
