L5R Draft Tournament Triple Play Sun Nov 20th

With Celestial Edition winding down and Emperor Edition being released in January, interest in constructed tournaments is waning. With that in mind, Triple Play will be hosting a Legend of the Five Rings CCG draft tournament on Sunday, November 20th. Furthermore, we will be printing out the new draft stronghold (previewed here www.l5r.com/news/focus-on-emperor-edition-2-draft-and-sealed-decks/) and using EE-legal boosters only.

The format used will be three Second City boosters and two Before the Dawn boosters. The entry fee is just $12, which is a bargain for five EE-legal boosters! Promo cards will also be given out to all participants, and there will be an extra prize for the highest finishing player taking part in their first tournament. We will redraft the rares in order of final position as additional prize support.

The tournament begins at 11am, when the boosters will be given out and drafting begins, and should be finished no later than around 6pm. If anyone has any questions, please email me at [e-mail], or contact the store and ask for Sean. It would greatly help if anyone thinking of attending could let us know so Triple Play can make sure they have the correct amount of product in stock. We look forward to seeing you there!

I wish I could make it. That is the one Sunday this month I have plans. I will be coming home from MA and I don't think I will be able to make the 11 start time.

Gary turned up too, giving us five players. We upped the boosters to three of each to compensate for the lower numbers, and played round robin.
