I dunno, for the most part I am disappointed with the way the new models look. I will, of course, continue to play Necrons and purchase whatever I have to in order to field fun armies on the table, I just would have liked it if they had made them look more like they did in 2nd edition.

Words cannot begin to express how excited I am for this. From everything I've read (confirmed in the white dwarf and not just the rumors) All the new rules thus far compliment my playstyle 100%, I couldn't be more happy with it =)
Tony, do you know how much (if any) you guys will be getting on Saturday? At least the codex?

We currently have 2 of every new item coming in, with the exception of the codex of which we have 4 coming in. No one really commented on this thread about rushing out to buy so if we run out, I'll have more next Friday.

Deffinately stopping by after the carnage tourny to pick up the dex on Saturday, won't be able to buy anything else till the followwing thurs though (the 10th) but planning to drop around $300 on new models that day lol

The fluff is so-so. As for as the codex, most excelent for what you get. Scarabs are the bomb diggity, and Tesla dakka is super fun sauce.

I think I like everything in the book except the Elites. You will be fighting over every HQ, FA, and HS slot. I think it's rare when a book has really good Fast Attack, and they all seem interesting. The Elites just seem a bit pricey for what they bring to the table, but we'll see how they shape up after some playtesting.
