Is anybody interested in doing the Journeyman League this winter? It would require that everyone start the league with an unpainted battle box, from which you would paint and build upon over the course of the league.
If not, I may have some ideas for a small league we can do to bridge the gap between the Shattered Grounds league seasons.

I would do that for gators...but I've already painted 2/3 of my battle box...not sure i can swing a 3rd faction right now. Though, I suppose my Cryx could use some love too

Being new to Warmachine, I'm currently gearing up for Carnage and would not want to start over again. However, I like the idea of a list which builds through the League. Something Like...
Wk1: Battle Box + Min Unit
Wk2: Battle Box + Min Unit + Solo
WK3: Battle Box + Max Unit + Solo
WK4: Battle Box, but swap in a new caster + Max Unit + Solo
... etc
It could scale up faster if you think that's too slow.

I have interest, though for my desired faction (mercs) I already have two half painted jacks.
As an alternative to a journeyman league I have a set of campaign rules I adopted from the old MK. I Theater of War campaign that might work. We could give those a try if there is interest.

good call! the old mk1 campaign rules are great, and it would be cool to use those nifty tables of warbeast/warjack bonds the rule books have

Yes, wanting to use the Warjack/beast bonds is one of the reasons why I want to play a campaign!
The rules are pretty similar to the Mk1 rules, I mostly just adapted them to support any number of players and tweaked how often your detachments get filled back up, so you do have to worry about model losses at least over the short term.
