Triple Play will be hosting a Legend of the Five Rings CCG tournament on Sunday, October 16th. The format is Celestial Edition, with cards from Glory of the Empire up to Second City, the newest expansion, all legal, including any promos that became legal during that time.
This tournament is just one week before the Obsidian Championship at Feeding Hills, and offers a great chance to test out and tune your decks before the event!
The entry fee is $5, and all money raised will be turned into store credit as part of the prize support. Promo cards will also be given out to all participants, and there will be an extra prize for the highest finishing player taking part in their first tournament.
The tournament begins at 11am, and should be finished no later than around 6pm. If anyone has any questions, please email me at daigotsu13@gmail.com, or contact the store and ask for Sean. We look forward to seeing you there!
WHAT: L5R CCG Celestial-legal Tournament WHEN: Sunday October 16th, first round starts 11am. WHERE: Triple Play, 1 Glen Road #3, West Lebanon, New Hampshire 03784. Telephone - 603-298-3364. Bumping this ahead of the weekend. Any else planning on coming? Will? Patrick? Rod? We should have a couple of guys coming up from Mass for the event, and it'd be good to get a decent turnout.

Running events on Saturdays was causing scheduling conflicts with other Triple Play events, so we decided to try out Sundays to see if that could be avoided.

I am out now. Finding a babysitter is fairly difficult apparently. Randall

I like Sundays better. They are easier for me to come play. Except during the fall when College Soccer is going on. But good news my son is a senior next year...so only one more year! ;D Rod

I think Sunday is a great idea for L5R. This weekend does not look like it will pan out for me.
