Heya folks
As some of you know, the Imperial Assembly is the 'fan club' for Legend of the Five Rings. Membership gets you a (roughly) quarterly newsletter, promo cards with each newsletter, access to the Koku Redemption program where you can redeem the points found on booster packs and starter decks for rare cards, and other bonuses during the year. Membership costs $30 or so for four issues, and you always get your money worth in just promos alone. It really is a no-brainer deal if you're playing the game even casually.
Being an Imperial Assembly member also allows you to select the store as your home Stronghold Store. This AEG-run retailer incentive program offers some great rewards for each level the store releases, and the amount of promo cards and special product the store receives is tied in to this. At higher levels, it can even give the store special storyline tournaments. Triple Play gets one level for each three players registered to the store, but there are currently only three people registered (Shelby, Patrick and myself, if the clans are anything to go by!). With the release of Emperor Edition now just a couple of months away, it's a great time to get on board and support the shop, and help everyone score some cool product into the bargain!
