The release event for Innistrad will be Sept 30th. This event will be 6 booster sealed. The entry fee will be 25 dollars. I want to get this event started at 6pm if I can with round kicking off at 6:30.

Will there be any Innistrad pre-release event(s) on the weekend of Sept 24th & 25th at Triple Play?

Is the format correct? 6 boosters sounds like sealed limited rather than draft.

The event on the 30th is a release event. I can not schedule Pre-Release events. Ya the format will be 6 Booster Sealed not Draft.

We had people show up for New Phyrexia thinking that Triple Play was a pre-release host (because we are listed on the wizards site).
Is there anything we can do to clear this up in advance?

I can try to see what I can do. I might be able to schedule an actual Pre-Release who knows.

Are there pre-requisites that a store must meet in order to host a pre-release event? Such as a certain level for the Wizards play network.

That is the stuff I have to check on. I do not think we qualify for level 3 WPN support yet but hell if I don't check we will never know.

Ah, what intricate gambits WoTC makes stores run through. You've got to love it.

I checked we do not qualify for Pre-Releases yet. Given more time I might get us there though. The reason we show up when searching for Pre-Release is that WotC doesn't separate Launch, Pre-Release and Game day events, not very nice of them for stores like ours.

Oh well. Is anyone planning to go down for a pre-release? I know quarterstaff does them.

Nope we are signed up for the Buy-A-Box promos this time around. That is a Level 2 thing Pre-Release is a level 3 thing. The Buy-A-Box promo is first come first server though so be careful they might run out.
