On Saturday September 17th, we'll be hosting a 15pts Mangled Metal/Tooth & Claw tournament! $5.00 entry fee, top 3 get Steamroller coins.
Registration as usual starts at 10am, we will start at 11. Number of rounds will depend on attendance, but with such a low point level I don't expect this tournament to take very long at all!
Mangled Metal/Tooth & Claw is just a caster and his battlegroup. In other words, for Warmachine it's a warcaster and his attached warjacks. In Hordes a warlock and his beasts. Any jack or beast that cannot be part of a battlegroup cannot be played in this format, nor can any solos or warrior units.

Most of our Warmachine players started up new armies over the summer, so I'm sure this is going to be a big hit with them! Question though: Characters that attach to the 'lock/'caster are okay for this? Marketh comes to mind. Or is this purely a caster and jacks event?

I'll be there! Just got some gators and i'm excited to use them! Plus, they help ward off the temptation to use goreshade

Also, we'll have a group of five people coming, with four of us competing. Bringin' the bacon if my Warstore order comes in on time!

Wow, that would be awesome if you are willing. I have an alternate list that I could use but I'd be at exactly 15 points if I could get my hands on a Buccaneer. -Will

I'll make sure he's brought along. It's actually sort of funny that you ask. I was thinking of taking a Broadside Bart list with two Mariners and a Buccaneer. Alas, the sizzling call of bacon has captured my arteries.
