Pat, I'm asking Ben from Burlington to bring a Scorpion deck for you to play - thought you might appreciate an opportunity to use a tuned deck with lots of power rares in it Rod, I'd recommend using a program like Egg of P'an Ku to build a deck, then letting me know what cards you are missing and I can bring them with me. Either that or trawl around and steal a proven Dragon deck Glad to hear you'll both (probably) be attending. Cheers Mark

Thanks for the offer Mark. I am definetly there, unless an emergency comes up...(which I doubt). I built a Dragon deck out of the cards I have. Not looking to win...just have some fun. We will see how it does! Maybe at a later tournament I will try to build a more "tournament worthy" deck. Right now since I am going in cold... I am just looking to play!
see you there....
Rod

It looks like I will be able to make it tomorrow. Mark, I would love to try out a real scorpion deck if your friend is willing to bring one down.

Pat, just a quick heads-up: the deck you're using needs the experienced versions of Border Keep and Bamboo Harvester from Forgotten Legacy...could you bring yours with you, please?
Cheers Mark

Results from Saturday:
1st Ben Higgins (Embassy Crane Honor) 4-0 2nd Mark Armitage (Forgotten Temple post-errata Big Oni) 3-1 3rd Rick Villamil (Utaku Plains Unicorn Battle Maiden/Paragon) 2-2 4th Shelby Armitage (City of Tears Phoenix Military) 2-2 5th Patrick Kelly (Palace of Crimson Shadows Scorpion Dishonour) 1-3 6th Rod Sheldon (Farthest Fortress Dragon Kensai/Monk/Samurai/Shugenja/Kitchen Sink) 0-4
Ben's turbo honor proved too fast for everybody, with him losing maybe 2 provinces over the course of four games. He took home $20 worth of store credit for his win, while Rod and Pat cleaned up with plenty of promos and 12 The Dead of Winter boosters each, provided by Tim Wells. Everybody walked away with promo cards for participation.
Next event will be the Second City release event on either Sunday September 18th or Sunday September 25th, depending on product availability.
Thanks, Mark
