Howdy, DoctorClockwork, it's Doctor Nik! I am interested in running two games the weekend of Friday July 22. I would like to run an IRON GM training game (players pick three elements, we build characters, I run a game 1 hour later) www.irongm.com in order to practice before GenCon. The second game is a Call Of Cthulhu Adventure play test. If your calendar's are open, do you have any space for me to run an event? |

Right on! I'd like to set up the Games for Friday & Saturday if possible. What time slots? They both will take ~5 hours each.

And run IRON GM! on Saturday 12-5/6

Tony don't Forget that on Friday night the Magic the gathering group gathers, as well as the flames of War group. Depending on how many MTGP's are there it can get pretty crowded (even in the basement) and somewhat loud. It might be kind of loud to run an RPG? Temis |

Yeah, but do they usually play in the basement? Tony They do not play ussually in the basement but they sometimes overflow from the upstairs. your answer to drnik implyed(IMO) that nothing goes on friday nights in the basement and it was open for him and friends. i thought that I should interject a note of caution Temis |

Drnik, did you win a semi-finals competition and are going to GenCon for that? If so, congratulations. Or are you going to compete for the first time? I've never heard of IronGM before, but have been looking at the link you posted. Looks pretty fun and very intesive. I'll try and make it for your Saturday session.

Hey Antholin,
I did not win the regional competition, but I did play & compete. It was very fun & challenging. I am a "big prep" GM, so running off the fly like this competition is a bit of a change for me. I have been practicing in my normal campaign & talking with the past winners of the competition.
I'd love to see you there!

Drnik, I'm definitey going to try and make it for Saturday's session. I'd love to see IronGM in action and it will also give me a good example of what goes into a session. I'll also be sure to check it out at GenCon. Thanks.
