Okay another month has gone by. There are plans for another day of gaming this coming Sunday starting at 10am. No one has planned a game...so if you want to get a game going that takes longer than we have on Wednesday. Or if you want to roll some dice and move plastic pieces let us know here. Just post here if you want to plan a game. Let people know what game and how many players. Thanks Rod  |

I would be totally interested in a game of Twilight Imperium. The new expansion is out and it has a variant "historical" scenario that looks interesting. The negation/political aspect of the game appears to be more involved and it sounds like fun from what I have read.
I already ordered it and will pick it up from the store as soon as it is available.
All that being said - TI is a long game - we would need to plan for probably 10-6 to play it. I volunteer to act as "GM" to speed the game along, I will also bring an egg timer for turn decision making. Analysis paralysis by one or two people will totally sink that game.
Anyone else interested, either in this upcoming Ameritrash session or a future one?

Man I wish I could make it... but I have some family obligations. If I get the chance I might stop up to see how the space wars are going. Here is a tip.... if Robert is playing....smash him early! Otherwise he will just play this like it is a euro....  |

That sounds good to me, and I agree that an egg timer would make sense to help keep the game moving. This Sunday is fine if we can round up enough people, or at the next one would be fine with me.

Runewars would be cool too - I would like to try that.
I'll go ahead and bring TI, depending on how many people show up. I think Runewars only plays up to 4, so we may have to split into two games.

I'm bringing Chaos in the Old World and some other stuff. Not necessarily as long as the other games people are proposing, but I don't think it would hurt to play more than one game in 8 hours?
