Hey everyone! We at Plymouth have decided that we need to end our semester with a big bang. So we came to the conclusion that the only possible way to make our bang big enough was to host a double tournament.
Details!:
-Saturday, May 14th, registration at 9 am, dice drop at 10 (we learned from last time )
-1500 points per player, making a 3000 point team. (No, you may not make a 1450 list and have your teammate make a 1550 point list.)
-3 hour rounds, lunch after the first round
-$5 buy in with prize money given to the top two teams
-There will be proper spelling/grammar on our info sheets
-The tourney will be in the two rooms that the 40k tournament at EconoCon were held in.
-Shared force org with one caveat. Each player must bring an HQ and two troops, (leaving two troops, 3 elites, 3 heavies, and 3 fast left for the team to use).
-It WON'T be random teams.
-In the case of Space Wolves and Chaos Daemons, your HQ selection is cut in half. Ex: 2 HQ's instead of 4 for Space Wolves.
Other things:
We will be having our tournament in the same room we had it in last time. Bring two copies of your lists. We're trying to make this competitive, yet fun, so we're planning on having some serious fights with at least one silly scenario that doesn't have ridiculous victory conditions.
