EconoCon is this weekend, folks! I know it's short notice for some, since we didnt' have an event posted up before. But Triple Play will have a booth at the con, as well as the Carnage guys running board game events. There's a Warmachine tournament, and a Warhammer 40k tournament. All for the low low price of FIVE BUCKS for the weekend! More info can be found here: psugaming.wordpress.com/econocon/Hope to see you all there!

Is Econocon in Plymouth? I'm not familiar with the area, and their site is not very navigable. Thanks.

We should discuss car-pooling arrangements for other people who are interested in going.

Not me personally, but we'll probably run some game demos at the store booth. There' are some scheduled events, and Chuck and Rod and the other Carnage dudes are going to run some board gaming.

Let me threadjack a bit.
Here's the info for the Warmachine tournament:
Plan for a Steam Roller style 25 point tournament. Two lists, scenarios, etc. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have 35 point lists on hand (I'm unsure as to how many people are going to participate and am unsure who has how much stuff). Three rounds, $5 buy in. Top two players get prize money.
Here's what's up with Warhammer 40k:
Its on sunday from D-E block which goes from 8am-till 7pm we will begin registering people at the beginning and probably start at 10ish depending on if we have enough people to start. People who pre reg will get first chance to play if there are to many people. It doesnt cost any money to join and econocon will be supplying prizes and whatnot.
Its 1750 3 rounds standard missions with bonus points
Try to make your armies as WYSIWYG as possible meaning if you have a carnifex you cant say its a trygon. but if you have say a guy with a melta gun but he doesnt have one its ok. if you have any questions about it you can ask me ill be there early.
^Just direct copy/paste from posts on the forums already, but compiled here is helpful too I think.

So is anyone from the Hanover/Lebanon area interested in going over and car-pooling to save some money on gas? I'll be happy to drive.

Also, to make I am clear- is the Warmachine tournament tomorrow or Sunday? The schedule has it listed as Saturday, but the thread in the forum says it is Sunday?
