We'd like one tournament every month and some of us need 2 weeks notice. I think we are just getting ideas together. The end result Drew should be in charge of things.

Also was your question a serious question or was there a tone in there somewhere?

It's cool guys. This one works in terms of my schedule. So long as there isn't an expectation that I automatically run things even when I'm not involved in planning them, we're good to go.

Be aware that this team format is a no-go if we have less than 4 teams (8 people total) and even that would be pushing it. If we get less than 8, expect to have a normal tournament planned out.

Everyone should be aware that there WILL be a sportsmanship component for this tournament. I'm a little disappointed that I have to re-institute this kind of thing, but last tourney convinced me of the need for it. You can expect this sportsmanship component to have the following goal in mind: forcing both players to think about the enjoyment of their opponent during the games.

You can expect missions and full rules up a couple days before the tournament.

Okay, back to painting my house :-D

I think its gonna be a 2000pt 1k per teammate. i think it could be interesting if 1 FOC had to be used.

Droofus I've seen this recently for one of Castle Games team Tournaments and I liked it.

2000 points (max 1000 per person)
each player gets
1 HQ
0-1 Elite
1-3 Troops
0-1 Fast Attack
0-1 Heavy
0-1 floating choice for Elite, Fast or Heavy

But your right if we have less than 8 people we should have a fall back plan of a simple single player tournament.

When you get a chance it might be a good idea to make a thread specifically for this tournament now. You don't have to post all the rules yet, but a general statement thread might be helpful in bringing it to more people attention sooner. Maybe boasting our attendance.

The lack of being able to coordinate our armies together doesn't sound like fun at all. considering a good chunk of armies only have certain FoC that make them good. Sharing

I dont get why that prevents you from coordinating armies. I do see how it prevents you from Min/Maxing spam if thats what your talking about.

I think when Droofus posted that the details of the tournament would be posted a few days before the tournament, I think that is exactly what he meant. We should all just wait until then.
